Goodbye Thumper

A couple of weeks ago Aidan's dwarf hamster Thumper passed away. It was really sad. We had a little funeral for him at the farm and found him a beautiful resting spot.

Been a crazy month, not a lot of time to update the blog. I will do a better job once September comes and things will hopefully slow down.

He Is Home!!!!

So happy to have Aidan back home from camp!!! He had an awesome time but he said he was ready to come home.

I know I have not posted in a long time - summer time is such a busy time! Here are some pictures of our summer so far....

Mall Of America was all about a square yellow sponge.....

Couldn't go to Minneapolis without a trip to Ikea.

Boys loved Valleyfair - even though it was cold!

We met some new friends at the Minneapolis Zoo!

Of course would not be complete without swimming in the pool and trips to the Marsh Walk at Clear Lake!

A Birthday and A Super Run

Been a busy week and weekend. Had an amazing time last weekend at the Miami crop, was so great to meet everyone in real life!

Another busy weekend this weekend, we celebrated Aidan's 12th Birthday...can't believe he is 12 already!!!

This morning Michael, Aidan and Nicolas did the Super Run at the Manitoba Marathon. They ran 2.6 miles and I am so proud of them!!! Man they were pumped at the end! Finished off the morning by taking Michael to the Pancake House for a Father's Day Breakfast.

Happy Father's Day to my Dad and all the Dad's out there!!!!!

Is Spring really here? We have had so few days of nice weather that sometimes it is hard to believe it is actually June. Here is the boys attempt to enjoy one of the nice days we have had lately.

I am so excited, this weekend is the big Spring Crop in Miami, Manitoba! Going to be so fun and I can't wait! Stay tuned for some pics next week of the weekend!

I was finally able to let that cat out of the bag last weekend and give Michael and Aidan their Birthday present! I think they were both pretty thrilled! To bad they have to wait until August to enjoy them!

Another freezing day here, when is this weather going to change? *sigh*
